Flights
Flights. Continental Airlines has non-stop flights to Houston from most of the US, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Tokyo. IAH Airport. The primary airport is (IAH) Bush Intercontinental with the majority of domestic and all international flight arrivals and departures and is located 35 miles north of the city approximately 45 - 50 min. from Rice University. Cab fare is approximately $50 and shuttles are $20. Hobby Airport (HOU) is located 25 miles southeast of Houston and is hub to Southwest and other airlines and is approximately 20 - 30 min. from Rice University. Cab fare is approximately $35 and shuttles are $20.

Rice Visitor Parking
Paid visitor parking is available via entrance #1, #2, #8, #18, #20. Visitor parking at entrance #1 and #2 are a short walk to Duncan Hall. All lots are serviced by the Rice shuttle buses at no charge. Paid visitor parking is $1 for each 17.5 minutes, with a maximum of $10 daily maximum and is only payable by credit card. Visitor parking areas are highlighted in yellow on the map here.
